Eric has over 26 years of experience in Operations, having had direct bottom-line responsibility of over 10 manufacturing plants in Mexico and the US. His expertise is in low-cost manufacturing, realigning operating facilities to be more competitive in declining markets. He spent the last 5 years consolidating manufacturing footprints, with the corresponding facility closure, sale or outsourcing to Asia/Mexico.
Eric lived for 10 years of his career in central Mexico working for Archer Daniels Midland and managing the largest Corn Wet Milling Plant in Latin America while executing a capital project of approximately $100 MM USD. This project included a Cogeneration Plant and one of the largest industrial Wastewater Treatment facilities in Mexico. His operations experience spans biotech, pharmaceutical, food and consumer products.
